0705 - Myanmar, Mingun: Settawya Pagoda, guards in a row

Myanmar, Sagaing Region, Mingun: on the west bank (from Mandalay) of the Ayeyarwady River stands the Settawya Pagoda. It was a pondaw paya or working model of the unfinished and the ruined Mingun Pahtodawgyi stupa which can be seen nearby.
